Tehran theatres kick off int'l screening

Theaters in Iranian capital city of Tehran have started screening one international film for audience members.

According to a media release, the screenings started Wednesday, quoting the official in charge of international film distribution in Iran cinemas as saying, “60 percent of ticket sales for such films will be allocated to medical center construction in the case of cinema people.”

Ali Ashtianipour added that ‘All the Money in the World’ by Ridley Scott is the first choice for public screenings in select Iran cinemas.

Three cineplexes in Tehran, including Kourosh and Megamall, host featuring of Scott’s work.

This can be a good piece of news for ifilmers visiting Iran as they can watch international films at the country’s cinema halls.
